Tweens (8 - 12 years)

Kids ages 8 and above enjoy outdoor sports as well as scooters, bicycles, and in-line skates. They acquire adult-like interests, abilities, and hobbies and may develop a particular passion or become a collector. Many of them enjoy creating things, and they find competitive games of all types irresistible. They are increasingly able to work on longer projects, some of which might take days to complete. In addition, they are also starting to outgrow their little-kid personas and move on to increasingly grown-up interests. But they also still harbor a fondness for things that are fun and silly.
